Please pray about our need of financial support through Vision For Youth
Dear Friends,
I need your help – and I need your support.
I believe that God is directing me to invest the next 3 years of my life in a strategic ministry to young people and youth workers.
Over 35 years ago, I co-founded a youth ministry organization entitled, Vision For Youth (for the purpose of training and encouraging youth workers for effective ministry) and I have been actively involved in that ministry, mostly on a volunteer basis, ever since.
Vision For Youth is a nationally recognized, 501-c-3 tax exempt, non-profit, religious organization that exists to network youth pastors and other youth workers.
The last several months, and especially the situation surrounding the Covid crisis, has convinced me that God is directing me to concentrate my efforts on producing more and more training resources for youth workers, parents of teenagers, and for young people.
As many of you know, God has opened the door for me to be a writer and speaker – and I believe that God is putting a growing burden on my heart to concentrate my time on writing books and developing online and in person materials for youth ministry. I believe there is currently a greater need for resources and products like this than ever before.
Our nation’s young people are struggling through a wide variety of issues right now – and I believe that God is leading me to a full-time ministry like I have just described through Vision For Youth to help provide solutions for these matters.
God has uniquely prepared me for this ministry at this stage of my life. I have over 45 years of practical, hands-on experience as a youth pastor, pastor, Bible college instructor & administrator, writer & editor, and ministry organizational leader. Plus, our own 3 children are all in full-time vocational ministry. This background positions me to have a leading voice in today’s youth ministry training.
My plan is to continue serving in my present capacity as youth & assistant pastor with Wyoming Valley Church while ramping up this new ministry through Vision For Youth.
